Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about using Bloktrix blockchain analytics dashboard.

How do I check gas prices?

Bloktrix displays real-time gas prices for Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, and BSC networks. Simply visit the dashboard and select your network from the dropdown. Gas prices are shown in Gwei with low, medium, and high estimates. You can also set up alerts to be notified when gas prices drop below or exceed your threshold.

What networks does Bloktrix support?

Bloktrix currently supports five major EVM-compatible networks: Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, and BSC (Binance Smart Chain). Each network has its own dedicated page with network-specific analytics including gas prices, block times, and transaction statistics.

How often is data updated?

Network statistics and gas prices are updated every 30 seconds. Trending token data refreshes every minute. This ensures you always have access to the most current blockchain data for making informed decisions.

Is Bloktrix free to use?

Yes, Bloktrix is completely free to use. There are no account requirements, no credit card needed, and no hidden fees. All features including gas price tracking, network statistics, trending tokens, and contract activity monitoring are available at no cost.

How do I set up gas price alerts?

On the dashboard, click the '+ Add Alert' button in the Alerts panel. Select 'Gas Price' as the alert type, choose whether you want to be notified when prices go above or below a threshold, enter your desired gas price in Gwei, and create the alert. You'll receive browser notifications when your conditions are met.

Can I track specific contract or wallet addresses?

Yes, you can search for any contract or wallet address using the 'Recent Contract Activity' section on the dashboard. Enter the address and click 'Load Activity' to see recent transactions, including transaction hashes, from/to addresses, values, and status.

What data sources does Bloktrix use?

Bloktrix aggregates data from multiple trusted sources including CoinGecko for token prices, block explorer APIs (Etherscan, Polygonscan, Arbiscan, Basescan, Bscscan) for gas prices and network data, and public RPC endpoints for block information. All data is fetched directly from these sources in real-time.

Is my data private?

Yes, Bloktrix is a read-only analytics dashboard. We don't collect personal information, require user accounts, or store wallet data. All alerts and preferences are stored locally in your browser. If analytics are enabled, they use privacy-friendly tracking that doesn't use cookies or collect personally identifiable information.
